PRESS RELEASE: INVESTMENT TRIBUNAL TO HOLD STAKEHOLDERS FORUM FOR RIVERS AND BAYELSA STATES






Capital market operators from Rivers and Bayelsa states are to hold a two-day  sensitization workshop which is being convened by the Hon Chairman/CEO of the Investments and Securities Tribunal (IST) Hon Siaka Isaiah Idoko-Akoh, as part of the ongoing public enlightenment programme on the functions and importance of the tribunal in maintaining stability within the investors and business communities.

This forum is specially put together to assist stakeholders in the industry especially towards matters of adjudicating in cases of disputes and grievances in the capital market.

The Executive Governor of Rivers State Dr. Nyesom Wike will deliver the keynote address while the Honourable Minister of Finance Hon. Zainab Ahmed is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour. The Chief Judge of Rivers State and that of Bayelsa State Hon. Kate Abiri will also be in attendance as well as other members of the bar and bench from both states.

Stakeholders will be treated to many papers to be presented by experts on the capital market operations as it relates the tribunal and dispute resolution under the theme:The NIGERIAN CAPITAL MARKET:DISPUTE RESOLUTION MECHANISM AND THE ROLE OF INVESTMENT AND  SECURITIES TRIBUNAL.

The two-day workshop holds at the NBA Centre, No 1 Bank Road,PortHarcourt from Tuesday 16th October 2018

Methodist Church Nigeria honours Barr. Olusegun Adekunle with knighthood - Says honorific award is in recognition of service to God and Humanity

Adekunle , KJW   The Methodist Church Nigeria, Archdioceses of Kaduna on Sunday, June 23 honoured 53 individuals from various walks of life who have distinguished themselves in faith and works to the church in service to God and humanity.
